. A couple of the spots we skipped (other than a ton of trails obviously) was Vail, Aspen and Gunnison. Guess you have to leave something for the future
, but we covered about 80% of what we planned - the place leaves you wanting more!

I just did Tincup Pass to St. Elmo yesterday. Did you take the "old Tincup" route near the top (shorter in distance but more difficult). I tried, but had to turn around as we were by ourselves and there were no other Jeeps around if we got into a bind

The route we took was from Lawton, OK - Amarillo - Santa Fe - Pagosa Springs - Alamosa - Pagosa Springs - Durango - Silverton - Ouray - Montrose - Black Canyon of the Gunnisons - Montrose - Grand Junction - Rangely - Dinosaur - Steamboat Springs - Hot Sulphur Springs - Rocky Mountain National Park (Trail Ridge Road) - Estes Park - Central City - Black Hawk - Silver plume - Silverthorne - Leadville - Buena Vista - Nathrop - Salida - Cotopaxi - Canon City - Colorado Springs - Pueblo - back home to Oklahoma.

You had quite an amazing trip. I've been coming to Colorado with family for 25 years, and living here for 10, and I still haven't done all of that (mostly missing the dinosaur national monument stuff, and the dunes). Well done.
