That's all part of Antracite Outdoor Adventure Area's land now. They're not open to the public yet, but I thought I read somewhere about that happening next spring? I know there was a Jeep Jamboree there earlier this year.

That looks promising. Has anyone wheeled there before? How are the trails? Do they provide a good combination of easy and challenging trails?

Default Have you taken a look at the Pines Barren in NJ

New to the Forum..... I wheel in the pines barren every now and then in my Nissan. I was there a couple weekends ago. There is a camp ground and plenty of places to wheel. The terrain is more sand bottom water crossings and mud pits but can be pretty fun. There are other camping locations around the park besides the main one with full amenities you can also take advantage of. I plan on picking up a new JK in the spring but haven't decided on lift with 35 vs 37s yet.

I'm resurrecting this thread. I think it's a great idea if it can be done.

I found bald eagle state park in PA. Looks promising. Has a ton of atv trails that look wide enough for jeeps. Just have to make sure jeeps can legally wheel there.

Well, we could start down in Newark and crawl over the civics. Then head up to the garden state plaza and see who can get a wheel on the roof of the tallest Range Rover. Then maybe take on a water crossing (ferry) to Manhattan and see who can crack the most cabbie windshields. We could test peoples snorkels underwater through the Lincoln Tunnel and then do some high speed runs up Route 21 into Passaic where the real rock crawling is. Some back roads there are 35s or bigger only and skids are a must! Then settle in for the night at the park in Ridgewood and fall asleep by the tree to the passing LED headlights of the german 2013s.
