So while you guys are sitting at your computers trying to figure out who is bringing the Gray Poupon, I thought I'd show you a few picts of what Hell's Revenge looked like today.

There was some serious wind up there. I'm talking 50-60mph! It's supposed to be nice tomorrow so stay tuned for the Golden area (Spike, Spider and Bar)

Day 2: Poison Spider, Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim. I can state as an absolute fact that Hell's Revenge is a weenie run. If you really want to do some wheelin' go on this. It's long. We started at 9:00 and didn't get back until 6:30. Unfortunately, I spent all my $$$ on skids for the Jeep and none for skids on the camera. As you can see on the Golden Crack pict, there's a big assed scratch on the lens now. We almost tipped on our side at one point, but the Rock Hard rear bumper caught on a rock and stopped us. Whew! Winds were still pretty strong and very cold. Pack some warm stuff boys.

This is going to be a long week.... I do not head out until next Tuesday. I would leave today, but I am not sure the wife would be too happy with me.

Once a road to a bunch of copper mines, it's now definitely somewhere between Hell's Revenge and Golden Spike in difficulty. Lots of loose rock, soft sand, very narrow cliff side roads and a few awesome obstacles. One of them kicked everyone's ass, JK, TJ and D90 alike. We all had to winch that one. It's supposed to snow tomorrow. Right now the sky is clear and it's still pretty warm outside so we'll see. BTW if you like corned beef hash, try Smitty's for breakfast. It's connected to the Big Horn Lodge.

Do you have coordinates for Green Day? What general area is it in? I am not familiar with that trail. Thanks.

This should give you an idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns1VG...e=channel_page

Thank you. I googled it and located it in the BFE area. I watched a couple of videos on youtube and then it went down. I think they are doing maintenance or something. I will check back in a few minutes.

Cliff Hanger today. It's right up there with Golden Spike just not nearly as long. #&%!!! camera! Some great views until the potash plant comes into view. Awesome obstacles. The best one is right where the trail is about eight foot wide with a cliff on one side and a wall on the other. Don't be slippin' sideways on this one. Getting back on the road is also a challenge if you don't use the bypass. There's a broken axle right by the trail there. I broke two front shock lower bolts on this trail. If you've put in those OME LT shocks from David, don't re-use the factory bolts.

There was a pretty cold wind with a little snow today. Have only been able to put the top down the first day I was here and even then it was pretty nippy. Maybe I'll get it down when I just show up for my poser days next week. Bring your shorts if you will, but pack some warm stuff just in case.

Cheers. If you like it on the dark side, both Moab Brewery (tap) and Pasta Jays (bottle) have pretty good Porters.

Are you staying all this week and next? I am envious if you are. You must have a good group to wheel with this week as I would not want to wheel those trails alone. I will be in Moab on saturday and running trials sunday through sunday. Maybe I'll meet up with you as I think you helped me and Lance out on my Jeep!
Thanks and miss the latest pictures...
Richard.
