You're absolutely spot on with that. I did Hell's Revenge the first day and thought it was a fun little warm up. Behind the Rocks was the last day and was plain scary. I'm thinkin' it has a lot to do with fatigue. Four or five days of long distance/time in the Jeep can tire you out.
Man, what a blast. Glad to see you've finally got a reason to upgrade the old axle shafts though. Are you thinkin' Superior, Alloy USA or...Longfields?
The Longfields aren't that much more than the others.

Oops. Didn't read closely enough the first time through. Fewer choices for the rear shafts. You just need to get the tone rings off the old ones and on to the new. Good luck.
