Yup it was covered under warranty. You can read more about it in the original post under the So Cal thread.

Is it open all the way through now(past the old cabin?)....or is it still "go up, turn around and go back down"?
Didn't you guys go to the Indian reservation and do the hard trails while out there?
I didn't go on this run, but I think the mid-section of Coyote Canyon is still closed. Too bad, because it used to be a lot of fun to go past Bailey's cabin and up the Turkey Track to Anza.

Unfortunately, we don't know for sure. Most likely, there was a fracture on the housing from the factory or from a previous run. When it broke, Trail Bud had been driving down a sandy wash and hit a small rounded boulder buried in the sand. There were no impact marks on the axle, his tire didn't blow or did anything else you would expect to break first.

Those are some great pictures. It was a blast meeting everyone and wheeling, although I would say that the camping was the best part of this trip. Can't wait for the next one.
Yup, as mentioned, it did rain quite a bit up in the mountians and I'm sure we were just seeing the run off from it.

I was great to wheel with you FunN4Lo and will be expecting you to join us out in DV over Veterans Day

Likewise. This was the damnest break I have ever seen in all my years of wheeling. I have since shown pics to several of my good friends in the industry and all of them were stuned to see these pics. As mentioned, Trail Bud is getting it fixed under warranty.

It's still closed and unfortunately, will most likely stay that way permanently. As far as Los Coyotes Indian Reservation goes, it is now closed to off-roading as well.

Just let me know what pics you want and I will send you hi-res versions of them without the watermark

It was great finally meeting you in person and wheeling with you as well and I'll definently will be there assuming nothing comes up. I'm sure I'll be there.

By the way, did you get a chance to get your pitman arm checked out by the dealer? Warranty?

Maybe FT needs to make a heavy duty one if the factory one bends that easily.

Unfortunately, no, I have not had a chance to take it into the dealer yet as I have been swamped with work. But, I intend to tomorrow. I won't hold by breath but I am hopeful.
