depends what landrover. the Defenders are sick. I came around a trail a year ago and ran into a landrover club and those guys were kicking ass out there. Really sick Defenders. The ranges are nice but thats only for cruising around town. haha I wish I had a Defender. Too bad they are going for 45k plus. booooo

I wouldn't dog Rovers too mcuh! I wheeled a rover for close to a year, and they may be heavy but I wouldn't say they suck!

That's for the old used ones. There's no plans to market the New Defender to North America... no matter what the lying liars at LR North America say.

I drove a '05 TDi this summer. Sweet.

if the defender comes back and hasn't changed much i'm getting one.. I love those things.. I almost had a 97' but it was just too much money on a used car. I couldn't justify it.. Plus I was still in college at the time.. haha I thought about bringing one over, but that would be a mess

Here's a good article on the history of the Land Rover Defender and it's ties to the Wrangler. It also mentions it might be coming back to the states in 2013.

I'll believe the Defender is coming back when I see it. Those guys lie every day about the New Defender and it's North American release.

Don't believe a word they say.
