I understand your point of not wanting trouble. Just my 2 cents..!
Believe me.... I though of all this, there was no feasible way of doing this w/O chancing trouble... Even with having police officers in the group..... I'm gonna start trying to get permits for next year cause they said it's about a 6 month process to get the permit, this way we can have a huge ride legally!

Awesome idea..! There's an acronym that we use in the Marines. It's called the 6 P's.
P roper
P lanning
P revents
P iss
P oor
P erformane..!

So good idea on planning ahead for that permit..!!

Doin it right next year! Never thought this would get this big.... 40 jeeps signed up originally... First time there's always gonna be some bumps in the road.... Smooth em out for next year's "event"

Next year, because the permit costs money, I will have to set up a "registration" the permit shouldn't be too much money.... I would still have to do the math for this idea but I was thinking about maybe involving a charity like "Wounded Warrior Project" "Susan G. Koman" "St. Judes Children's Hospital" maybe charge $20 for registration and $10 goes to charity and the other $10 goes towards our permits (those are just EXAMPLES of charities and costs) This is just a thought I had today.... How does something like that sound to all of you?

OUTSTANDING..!!!! You got my vote. You just need to contact a rep fir the charity involved & set it up from there. It's some work involved but not impossible & not to mention honorable..!!

Why? First time it really snowed in NJ....all the jeepers all the sudden wanted to get their snow fix.

Props to you though for quarterbacking this whole thing. I can't make this run, but will definitely make the next one and meet all you nuts, and leave me to deal with the rangers.

Thats what I mean. Say two groups of 10 show up. One goes to an obstacle, the other goes to the same one. Since only 1 jeep at a time goes through, a line is formed. Hell, imagine I came. None of you know me, and I don't know any of you. Just because we drive Jeeps it means we are together?

BTW, Jersey Devil, who's this toolbag loser that said they were going to rat you out?

Well he mentioned someone somewhere else ratting the group out....I just wanted to know who's tires should be slashed for being a bag-o-poop. Thats a pretty messed up thing to do in my book.

I don't know who, but I was given a heads up about this being a persistent problem with ppl posting publicly about Wharton trail rides here on jkf.... Apparently another forum is watching ours (dual members obviously) and screwing with us.... So I'm making sure EVERYTHING is legal and legit for us by splitting the days and speaking with the Batsto Ranger Station myself.

I'd like to know who, but honestly I don't care to play their games. I just wanna go muddin!
