Default Rubicon wheels & tires on JK Sport?

Just purchased a JK Sport (2door) with the alum wheels. No suspension mods to date. Have seen on eBay Rubicon used wheels and tires for around $1200 plus shipping.

Have been thinking of purchasing a set of these for the Sport. Any options/issues with doing this? Either putting them on the stock Sport or buying from these sellers on ebay?

Thank you.

No problems putting rubicon wheels and tires on a sport. However, I'd try hard to find something local. The shipping is going to kill you. Seems like a bad investment for $1200 plus shipping. About 6 yrs ago I bought a set of rubicon wheels & tires with only 1500 miles on them for $800.

Keep looking, Rubicon takeoffs are common and should be well under $1k

Kinda sad that our JKs are all getting older. I have to think the days of getting brand new take-offs are getting a little harder than they used to be. I'd agree on the $600-800 range but I bet OP's market in Samoa is a lot skinnier than here in the continental US.

Yep I have seen local Rubi take off sets for $500-$600 before. Craigslist and FB marketplace.

When you don’t need them or don’t want to spend the money, you see them for 5 to 600, when it comes time that you’re actually looking, they go up to 1200

not sure why it turns out that way
