I did the same on my XJ, using some cheap useless riceburner fog lights from advanced. I used only one but wired it to come on with the reverse lights, but also through a switch so I could turn it on separately. It uses a relay and a pair of diodes

They're not wired yet, I will post when they are along with a review on how I like them.

Is a pair of CHEAP lights better than a single, cheap good light?
