I have keyless entry in my X, as long as I leave the doors off.

 

 

I sandblasted mine and used DuraCoat (a 2 part firearm epoxy type coating) It is NOT coming off I just have to get around to Duracoating the locks. I already did the door latch loops (the shiney parts that your door closes on) as those were irritating me

Thanks for the tips. I used dupli-color on mine and antenna too. I got to wait till the wife can mask the JEEP emblem so I can do that. because my fat fingers and tape in small places does not work. I did the locks using a piece of cardstock cut out and holding it over the lock. I pulled the antenna but ended up having to touch it up as the wrench when I put it back on scratched it. :angry: All in all a cheap way to change the look and of course will look good when I put the doors back on. I just took them back off from bringing my daughter back from surgery Friday.
