thank you for taking the time to do this write up. I installed the DDM 35w 5k headlight kit with relay harness and its working perfect so far. Now I wanted to match the fogs but reading about the canbus had me nervous. After seeing this write up thread I just ordered the 35w H15 5k fogs

in response to light led's staying lit up after the jeep is off..
It is the Canbus system that feeds VERY low amperage to the circuits after the jeep is turned off… normal halogen bulbs can not light up with such a low amperage but LEDS require such a low amperage to operate they do ever so slightly turn on.

Well how ever many years latter and one of my original replacement e bay led lights is blown, so I got some more this time white ones, i am going to throw them on today I think, the blue ones looked cool but the police here didn't like them. glad this thread still exists it's been so long from the time I originally put the new leds in that I needed to recap and remember the steps.

Well I got the new light bulbs in, but totally messed up one of the plastic bolt/tab things that holds the plastic flap under the grill on.
anyone know the part number for that one going to to need to get a new one.
