Yes the only downside would be your battery would drain just alittle faster but if you have the stock stereo and nothing else on then you can run it for awhile. Just make sure you start it up every once and awhile to charge the battery.

When I do the ESP off code it turns off the ESP but dings twice every time I stop. Ideas? ESP off is waaay better on the dirt!

I noticed if you turn the engine off before your headlights, they stay on. Turn them off before the motor and they should go off.

I could be wrong but on my 2012 i had unplugged just the drivers side and didn't take the doors off and that stopped it. It seems it only monitors the drivers door.

I have a 2012 jk. The ESP off code won't work. Are the codes different for newer models? Where do I need to look to find these codes? I hate ESP! Please help me.

Actually learned this from a friend with a CJ7?? But in the 2012 if you just hold down the ESP button for 30 seconds or so it will disable the ESP...has to be redone every time you turn the engine off and back on but very handy
