with the key? Or hitting the lock on the door it self?

haha don't worry it happened to me with my moms mini van, the battery died and the Fob didn't work to unlock it so I spend a whole day trying to get the hood open. Until I remembered I could use the key lmao

Turn ESP OFF COMPLETELY
1. Turn jeep on
2. Set to 4hi
3. Set parking brake
4. Make sure steering wheel is centered
5. Turn wheel to the right, 180 degrees, JEEP logo should be upside down at this point - hold ESP off button for 7 seconds, you may hear a chime at 5 seconds(and ESP OFF may show up on the speedo), but keep holding for 7 seconds!!!!
6. Turn wheel back to center then left 180 degrees, JEEP logo should be upside down at this point - hold ESP off button for 7 seconds, again, hold for 7 seconds!!!
7. Turn back to center, and hold ESP for 7 seconds.
8. Turn Jeep off

Jared[/QUOTE]

I will have to try this!!

How do you know if this has been successful? After I held mine for 7 seconds it said "ESC OFF' on the dash where the odometer is, but the yellow dumby light is not indicating off.

I'm glad to hear it worked out. It would be nice if someone would design a plug and play kind of device but we will make it work!
