so if i turn the esp off the lights stay on ? and this works on 2010 ? not much snow and ice here being able to do a donut would be cool

The Change oil light is not set at a number of miles . It changes with different habits the more gas and time u spend under high engine load the sooner the light goes on . Not the best System really . It's in the search somewhere
