DIY On-Board Air
if you wanted a tank to hold air you could weld a custom tubular bumper and seal it air tight and run the air lines from that. should be able to fill a tire in no time
. a friend of mine did that on his ranch trucka few years back in west texas, said it worked like a charm. but dangerous if you leave it charged and hit a deer
. great write up and very clean install. been thinking about relocating my muffler and putting the pump back there. but I like your idea a lot better.

If you engineered it right, it would vaporize the deer, and you'd just need to hit the squirts & keep going.

an old friend of mine had air tanks built into the rollbars on his old FJ. it was very cool.
This is top notch, first class work with budget material. That's a hard bill to fill, but you did it very nicely. The biggest reason is because of the way you did the work. You made it look as if it could have been a factory option. Very, very nice work.
i have all these same parts at home, however none of my projects seem to work out quite the way i envision. I guess worst case i have to buy a better pump.
does anyone know weather the pump in this post or the one from harbor freight is better. what about running two at one time off the battery? if the engine is running should be fine right???
