Doorsoff Mirror Relocation To Hinge...cheap
My take on the doors off mirror fix... and dirt cheap. The pics will explain it better, but basically I got a 3ft threaded rod (5/16" or 3/8") at HomeDepot. Sawed it in half, for each side, and stuck it in the hinge holes and mounted a mirror on top.
Go BOTTOM UP when putting it through the hinges. Secure it with nuts and good hard plastic washers around the top hinge only. I wrapped electrical tape around one end for the bottom hinge. If the tape is exact fit it'll hold fine on the bottom alone. All in for both sides is about $40. Have to do a lot of threading with the "in between hinges" nut, off and on, but its worth it. Not much more effort than doing the soft top hustle. Tight, sturdy and functional... just like the missus.

Where did you get those mirrors? Do they hold up at highway speeds?

Picked the mirror up from the local auto part store, I plasti dipped the back black to match my Jeep. It does pretty good at highway speed, shakes a little but not that bad. I'm sure if I would just shorten the all thread the shaking would stop.
