Also as for Royal Purple. A friend of mine changed all his cars/trucks to it and the ones that had over 50K all had engine noise/ticking. The only one that sounded good on Royal was the new 300C with 20K on it. He then went back to good old MaxLife in his others. I also went to sythetic in my old 02 Ecsalade at the time when it had 60K and I ended up with noise and dry starts if it sat for more than 1 day, back to Maxlife in that on. Just my experience and thoughts take it with a grain of sale if you like.

I went to Mobil 5w20 at 3000km=1800miles in the JK it sounds good/starts nice. But I do buy my oil in the US since 5l jug of Mobile here in Canada'07 is 42+tx=$48. When I go down I stock up at $23 a jug.
The wife bought a '07 Honda in Nov of '06 and put about 3000 miles on it. I took it in to change oil and Honda rep said no, bring it back at 7500 miles. At 5000 miles in summer '07 I did the oil change with Wix filter and Mobile 1 5w20. It's still in there with 11,300 miles and the change indicator says 50% left. I pull the dipstick and there's no apparent loss and it's sill pretty clear and clean so I probably won't change it for quite a while.

Yep, Change my oil every 6,000 miles=10,000km and they all run on Mobil1 and OEM filters. I do 90% Highway and 10% City driving. So far so good.
