Hmmm.... I can't decide if I should be offended or flattered. I did a really nice job on that grille mod you know. No plastic or twist ties here.

finished this mod today. I also changed out the Silver grille for a black one.

 

Here is mine. did it today. took me 45-60 minutes thanks to the good explanation in the first post.
My Grill mod. I used the 3M wraps and adhesifs but I used a mesh from plastic from a car tuning shop.
Also removed the Jeep logo.

Yes sir it does. Heres some other angles. It actually used to be rescue green.

 

Thanks folks , turned out nice on my white jeep with silver galvanized gutter guards from Lowes - BTW, I dont think photo does justice ) .

Also, cutting them down to size holds better due to the lesser weight / payload than a whote expanded metal sheet. see picture.

Used Elmer glue in addition to the peelback stick ons, hope it will hold. Seems to hold quite fine so far.
