you might be able put the brackets under the hinges... I didnt wanna have the possibility.of the hood getting crooked. I'll post some pics with axe tonight

In looking at that last picture that was posted, i think I'd go one step further with the painting and buy the Chrysler color matched spray paint for the part of the bracket that is resting on the hinge. A bunch of coats and then a little clearcoat and you'd be all set. Just a thought.

don't tempt me with the slantback! I know how to fiberglass... But yeah, would love that but I'm open to suggestions for the next project!
