The only thing with bumper and fabin your own is you really need access to a welder. I'll see if I could come up with something at depot where you wouldn't have to weld but... Woo. It'd for sure have to be tubular though... I'll look and see.

A lot of guys here have made bumpers with not much in the way of welding etc. Do a search, you'll find some cool ones.

Why does the title call this a hood light bar? (unless you live in the 'hood)

Here is one. I think this is just cutting down the metal piece under your stock plastic bumper.

So looking back at this post i'm a little confused.
Is this right... you used the HD ruberized coating, then the duplicolor self etching primer, then painted it?
Just checking cause your final pics dont look like it has the texture that your first pics of the ruberized coating had. thanks for your help.

In the middle of the thread he said that he had to removed to rubberized stuff because it was crap. Primed and painted.

Did you consider using the perforated square tubing rather than the angle stuff? I think it would look better.

if anyone still wants a picture of the axe on it i can get that up@! i've got soooo many compliments from this mod and everyone everywhere you go looks and can't stop starin!
