Well I removed the hood spring a couple years ago and haven't had much problem with that in awhile. Either it will help the flutter or it will rip out the top of the hood.

No worries. If I'm driving it it's going to get wet anyway.

Yup, 100% improvement, since I haven't driven it since I did this.

Nice write up and good to see on a JK cuz we've seen them for years on other model years! I always wondered when someone would do it on a JK...nice job!

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm going to help a buddy with a similar install tomorrow, only he is using large RunCool louvers. I'll try to get some pics of the finished install.
