I started to lower mine a year ago and gave up when I ran out of time (had to be somewhere). I certainly could have gotten it down had I watched this video first. Great resource!

Wow! Thanks for posting...I didn't think it was so involved to do so! I saw a guy on the expressway with his down and was like "Wow! Cool!" but then I was like "Wow, he could get a rock in the eye!"

2nd. It is really fun. (see pic <--------)
3rd. Once is usually enough for most people...


I left it down for 3 days (I think) when I did it. I will still do it, if I get the time, but it will be more difficult (and time consuming) with my CB whips mounted up there now...

Thansk for the video. I guarantee that one time during my JK ownership I will take down the windshield, now thanks to your video...I will know to set aside alot of time. Seriously, looks like a PITA...but I'll have to do it once.

I drove about 20 km off-road with the windshield down, and there is a problem; The windshield is too heavy for the metal gage (thickness) of the hood. I won't do that again
