Im also curious to know. OP did you have any issues down the road? Also curious how hard and in what terrain you wheel in. Looks like a perfect thing for the $. Just want to make sure its not $ flushed if the quality is lacking and I have to replace it later on. Thanks for the write up!

I installed mine about 3 weeks ago, and Love IT!. Best bang for your buck IMO, can't go wrong. I was easy to install w/o any issues and I haven't had any rattling or noise from mine. I often check to make sure the Tire is secure w/ the holder you spin on. The support bars help out w/ any bouncing or movement from the tire. No issue w/ the tailgate either, and I mounted my Hi-Jack on the tailgate hinges. Its all good, I highly reccomed it to anyone.

I just took off my 18in spare with 35 tire and man no more rattling. It seems like the ride is less rough now.

If Smittybilt really will help solve my rattle problem i might just get one since its affordable.

Anyone else installed one and want to chime in?

Mine has worked well I also added the mbrp reinforcement plates it is a big improvement over the OEM .

Athough it is working well my 35" spare is very heavy and my tailgate makes some creeking noises and I open and close it quite a bit, i am just finishing up a nice bumper and tire carrier combo and will no longer need it.

it is for sale if anyone needs one.

My 37" setup is strong. Still no rattles or other issues I might have thought would show up by now. I'm still impressed.

Will this work with a stock Sahara rim and a 35x12.50x18?

Yes Swelly, this set-up is a great design, you will love it. I have had mine on w a 35" for 7 months and no issues at all.
