Shipping is outrageous though. That's why I still have it. Nobody can afford the shipping, especially when you can order it brand new for a lot less with shipping.

vador - sounds like a good reason for a road trip - that's not too far for you - arkansas is beautiful this time of year...

Default Bushman rack

Can anyone tell me how high above the jeep the Kargo Cage and Bushman rack sit (from the roof of the hard top). I've got about 11" of clearance right now getting into my garage, but I'm afraid that it won't fit with the cage and rack.

Huskyfargo,

How much are you asking for your rack?

For all you who have installed the cage, a quick question for you:

There are the two bars that run the length of the jeep ... how far are these bars apart?

Thanks

Did Kargo Master ship silicone as their sealant? If so, they now use E6000.

What the hell is e6000? Do I use that in place of Silicone? I bought silicone too, now I am completely confuse, and they are closed (Kargo Masters)...Yay. Why should they be there to help, when people actually do work on their vehicles..on weekends. Oh well, anyone know what this is? And is it to be used in place of silicone? I am so frustrated.

Thank you...

EDIT, Okay, saw that it is a permanent bonding adhesive. WTF? I don't think I want to permanently bond this to the screw holes in the windshield where the mounting brackets are.

Default Kargo Mastered in one month!!

I received all sorts of extra hardware with mine and nothing in the instructions to show where the extra bent washers & rubber o-rings went. I was instructed to down load the other set of instructions, way cool!!! There must be at least 3 different ways described/pictured to apply the RTV. Remember this must be done to avoid voiding the warrantee. I did get two of the stick "rods" with mine. You can only really use one at a time due to twist of the rack. I did get two right rear legs originally so much for a packing list.

I love the 60mph enhancement for the woofer .

The rack sure is sturdy!!! I love it.https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/imag...lies/wings.gif

Put my Congo Cage and Utility Crossbars on last Wednesday night worked from 9pm to 1:30am and completed the entire project all by my lonesome. I would recommend getting a helping hand hoisting the cage onto the Jeep. Nearly threw my back out placing it.......

Step 1 verify all parts are in box
Step 2 follow directions placing brackets on Jeep first
Step 3 built cage on ground
Step 4 lifted cage onto jeep
Step 5 bolting cage in place starting on rear working towards front
Step 6 Silicone everything
Step 7 attached crossbars
Step 8 finished the 12 pack sat back and enjoyed the stogy
