Just happened to come across this today and thought about this thread... This stuff looks pretty awesome, but it's pricey!!

Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to do the mirrors, gas filler neck, and license plate bracket next.
Only did one coat.
Not well versed with spray paint; had a few dribbles (barely noticeable)- just kept telling myself, "better than it was..."

I use Mequiar's Ultimate Black (i think. not around my garage at the moment) But it works great. Lasts for about 2 weeks at a time, or until I run it all through mud. Great Stuff though.

Another vote for 303 Aerospace. I use it on the fenders, top and wheels. Thing is I can never find it in the Auto stores. Usually get it from Amazon, but recently found it at EMS in the kayak section.

It's a popular product with boaters and can be found in most marine supply stores

SEM Trim Black! I have used it to paint my mouldings on my M3 black again. You would never know it was paint. The local body shops use it.

This is what I use. My neighbor suggested it. Its a little expensive for a small spray bottle, but you dont have to use much of the product when you apply it. What I do is spray a little bit on a paper town and rub on.

Default Peanut butter

Why use peanut butter? Why not just peanut oil?

I used the forever black on my fenders around the 4th of July and wow what a diference and still on like the day I put it on.
I only did the fenders and you can see the difference between the old and the new I took this pic 2 days ago.
I still have to do the bumpers and side steps.
