Ok, it took my like two hours. It wasn't working for me, or so I thought. It turns out I didn't have good connections the first couple times. It's fine now, worked like a charm.
...I love this forum!

Where did you get that splice connector? When I did the mod on my 08 the connector I used was alot bulkier and looked like crap. I am gonna do my 11 here soon and wanted to make it look a little neater.

Well I picked up some of the T connectors from RadioShack but got the wrong ones. Lol. The ones I got are a size too big. So I spliced them in the old way. Now the lights aren't working and I have a fast blinker and fast rear lights. I am going to take a look tomorrow and pick up some liquid electrical tape. Hopefully that takes care of the problem. Lol.

If its a fast blinker, it sounds like you have a blown bulb, either the front or the back on the side it's blinking fast.

Sweet! Finished mine yesterday! Works great got my connecters at Lowe's. They are blue in color so you don't have to splice. It if does not work just squeeze connector to make better contact. They also have the liquid electrical tape too. Took about an hour. Easy mod. Thanks again.

I am gonna head out in a couple min to work on it. I cut the two black wires for the markers and tapped into the outer most wires on the turn signals. Both sides actually have fast blinks. I checked one marker bulb and it was good last night.
As for how I spliced in, I stripped done insulation away and wrapped the braided marker wire around it. Then I wrapped in some electrical tape but I might have been too forceful with the tape. The is my first thought at least.

Ok I am sure it is a connection issue. I double checked the lines and the black to the markers were cut and spliced in the outer most turn signals. When I removed the black lines the blinkers worked, with the black attached no go in fact the blinkers stay lite and no the markers don't light up. I might seal the splice and try again with some scotch connectors...maybe. Oh and yes I am electrically challenged lol. Only on vehicles though for whatever reason.

Ok I am confused...
Drivers side...

Passenger side...
Still no dice. Did they change the wire loom on the 2008? The black wires are from the market lights and obviously these are the signal lights...any ideas?
