Nice... that was my 2nd choice for switch location. I ended up putting mine below the power window switches since I have a 2 door. Fits perfectly there. I have the Daystar switch panel, so couldn't mount it where MOPAR wants you to.

Hog Ring Pliers are one of those tools you will probably only use once, but when you need them, you really need them. Completely sucks trying to do the job without them.

But my MOPAR kit came with a decent set of pliers. Didn't yours? They're definitely cheap, only good for a few uses, but they got the job done.

Great install! I just have questions about the power source...I see the switch but where did you hook up power? Is there already a dedicated source for heated seats?

Anyone try to get the heated seat switches that come out of other DCJ vehicles? They're the same as the disco/locker switches. Would look really good down by the shifter, like stock.

Cheers.

Good luck with that... those switches are CAN-bus. You'd have to also get the computer control module for the heated seats out of another DCX vehicle, figure out how to tie it into the CAN-bus, then hope and pray that you can find a feature code for the dealer to enable on your JK so they work. Fat chance at that, I'm sure unless heated seats are offered in the JK outside NA?

The Mopar harness piggybacks onto the cigar lighter. Plugs right in, no splicing or anything.

Was there any issue of the factory harness not fitting into the power supply because you mounted in the console?I have the kit and plan to install in 2 weeks. I like your setup bettre the the jeep design, but do not feel like having to splice wires.

Thanks
