Default Off Road Trailer build!!!!!!!

anyone buillt a off rd trailer? My plan is to make my own. 4x5. With 33s. Need some direction on axle size, hub to fit stock 18' wheels. Know any DIY write ups on this topic? I do a lot of camping and surf fishing. It's time to add more space!!!

Search for "M-416" thread by Lifeofabombtech; his build is awesome and will give you some insight.

Hey axwork I built a off road trailer you can search for my posts its been awhile since ove been around went through a cash flow crunch amd thought I would neef to sell ot but everything worked out so still have it and will update the thread when I have some time to work on it more. thought I posted it in a fabrication forum but looks like thats gone now maybe im going crazy but if u search for my posts it will pop up. As far as the axle goes u can order one online. I got a 3500# axle with 5x5 hubs. You will not be able to fit factory wheels over the trailer hub unless u machine the hole in the center of the wheel or use a spacer. I machined mine not as pretty since u can see the hubs dust cap but makes greasing the hubs easier and cost me nothing. I will try to find a link whete I ordered it from but I think they where a sponsor since I got 10% off my order.

Heres the link trailerpart.com/ I think I got everything axle springs misc. Hardware for around 300 not sure what your planned use is but a queen mattress is 5x7 my plan was to have two lids thay flipped open to make sleeping platforms for queen air mattresses and have a Montana style tent that would fit over the top. Couldnt see trying to fit my family of 4 in a little roof top style tent but to each there own let me knpw if u have any more questions

Here is my trailer build 48x54 box with a 48" tongue, 3.5k custom axle with 5-5 trailer hubs and spaced to fit jk wheels over dust caps. Used DIY fenders from sierra trailers and running 285r70r17 bfgs km2's. Trailer has a lift top and lockable tailgate. Made it mostly of 2x2 1/8th walled tube. Sided it with 22 gauge and Berliner...
