I would look at the colors that plastidip has. I have only found a few colors by supposedly they now have a full color lineup. It might be better than rattle canning over it, any future repairs you might have to make will end up being more of a pain that its probably worth

I agree totally with you on the fact that any future touch ups would be a pita... But their selection of aerosol can colours is very limited...black, white, the blaze colour line up, and smoke which is translucent. Any body have any experience with the smoke?

They have some new camo colors don't they? Im thinking maybe black or tan for a project next summer

I'm liking what I'm seeing on this thread with plastidip. My question is, what kind of prep does it take before you plasti dip something?

It depends on the surface, but I use de-natured alcohol to clean up any dirt or grime really well (like my wheels) and it dries fast.
