The new one was 15 bucks Canadian, and I already noticed an improvement in gas consumption. I would take it as oil eating and loss of fuel eco could be some symptoms. Will key up after this oil change to see if it is drinken less coolaid (oil).

With the amount of KM's on my Jeep besides fluid changes what other sensors or valve systems should be looked at? And if they are within the normal DIY ability.

Throttle body cleaning is a DIY and should also be checked along with MAS and PCV valve. Here's a pic of how dirty mine was from 50k.

What's the electronic probe between the airbox and tb? I thought that might be the maf? I cleaned mine with maf cleaner, hope I didn't mess anything up :/

It's a temp sensor for the incoming air.
