I wonder if it has the same flow and spring pressure as the OEM valve.
I might get one and dissect it for comparison. I've recorded all the numbers for the OEM valve.
i sized them up when i got the factory one out. They looked exact by eye. I also noticed that the internal part had a 24 stamped on it. The napa one did as well. After i started it up and let it idle, i noticed the difference. We will see when i take it for a drive. Thanks for the write up!

I compared the NAPA 2-9555 to an OEM pcv valve.

The NAPA appears to be a valid replacement.

Overall dimensions are the same.
Spring tensions are equal.
Orifices are the same size.
The dimensions and profile of the plug inside are the same.

Sweet. Glad I got that one!!!!! Thanks for the information. I was kind of worried. I still have a sputtered idle after driving my rig this week. Has to be my plugs as I removed and cleaned the throttle body and replaced the PCV valve. That's the project for this weekend.

The difference was a smoother idle than I had before.

just did this on mine. never could get the zip tie trick to work. they kept breaking. so i used pliers and some leverage on the plastic bit and finally worked it out. do they make a tool for this? just curious as i cant imagine that Jeep mechs do it this way.
