Default Soundbar Gunrack

Hey guys very easy way to mount a shotgun/rifle on your sound bar
first off I used the existing holes from the sound bar with some 3 inch bolts through some 3/4 inch plywood (scrap) If you trace the plastic part of the sound bar and spraypaint it black it makes it blend right in with the top up or down.

NOTE :not sure how much clearance that the hard top has but the soft top left me with around 2 1/2 inches.

I went to local sporting goods store and found a gun rack mount with suction cups for a pickups back glass. After I unscrewed them and mounted on my plywood

total time was about 1 hour

Always check to see if your state has open carry laws, domain carry laws and always remember you may have the right to have something but to you have the personal responsibility to that right? Always be smart think before you act

I like it. I think many people would never see it there. Great use of space and the gun is sure not to get hit.

Is it difficult to remove with the top on?

The best part is even with my retarded red dot scope on the shotty it is still easy to remove the gun from on top. The main reason I wanted to mount it there is so that i wouldn't hit my head on it gettin to my blind. Hope yall like it!

Looks awesome! Are there any chaffing problems on the plastic loop when the top bufffets?

Not sure yet just put it on yesterday but I will let you know. I do want to add a couple of velcro straps to make sure the gun stays in place.
