Under-Floor Storage
I secured mine by using two L shaped brackets screwed into the clips/tie down in the back and by using a piece of metal attached to the subwoofer mount. You could still probably break into it pretty easily but I just did it so shit don't start flying in the case of an accident.

I was curious if people were securing the entire box to the jeep floor or if the box was just set in place with a tight enough fit to restrict movement.
OK, here are the pictures. The first shows the storage location of the 2x3 spacer, the second is with the 1/3 seat section removed. You can see the 1/3 panel in its stored position behind the black toolbox. The 4 other panels fit under the rear seat.
Quite a bit of space under there for out of sight extra storage.

Just an update. This idea failed. The separate "boards" were always in the way. I went back to the hinged panels.
I am in the process of doing this as well.
I used ChoiceDek composite decking material as the frame. I looked at Trex, but it was not a solid material. In other words, it has a "skin" that is one material, and a "core" that is another. I found the ChoiceDek at Lowes, and it is a solid material. I ended up finding a "Speed Rail Kit" that had four 2x4s at 6 foot length.
Pricey ($65 IIRC), heavy as hell, but should last forever and was VERY easy to dado. It machines quite nicely. When I replace my deck, it will be out of this material (assuming I can afford it).
I cut the frame and screwed together (this stuff will NOT glue, so plan on tight dados and secure using screws). Used stainless steel screws to reduce the chance of weathering.

Here is a detail shot of the corner:

And a detail shot of the area behind the sub. Notice the relief cut for the bolt:

I left a little room between the rear of the back seat and the front of the frame:

Then I used a 3/4 inch piece of finish grade plywood and created two storage compartments. I secured using hold-open hinges and stainless steel hardware:

Detail of the clearance around the sub. I need to relief cut a little more near the notch behind the sub, as the hinges I got will move forward slightly as they open:

Detail of the cut on the non-sub side. The idea was to permit this section to open without rubbing any of the plastic interior panels, yet not leave enough room that my dog's paws could get caught. I may add a filler block in the dead space near the curved portion here:

That's as far as I have gotten to date. I found a nice outdoor carpet at Home Depot that matches the black carpet of the wrangler almost exactly... However, it is 1/4 inch thick so I need to allow over 1/2 inch between panels and when the door is open.
Will update as I make more progress.
Additionally, I have all dimensions if anyone wants them.
Thanks to the OP for the inspiration!

Just found this thread, great job everyone. Here is one I made a few months ago. I'm thinking of adding a tailgate table which will require me to re-design and build a new one. If I do I'll also incorporate the fold flat design.
I finished my box in BEAR Deckover so it's easy to remove the dog hair.
