New Jeep owner here looking for other jeepers in the area for trips and maybe to learn a few things.

 

congrats on the new jeep, i grew up in corpus but in the coast guard now so im all over the place. pretty much all you have there is beach there is some places to go get into mud but i wouldn't recommend because of the high salt content. the place that was the most fun was taking a trip out to the national sea shore also some short trails on the left hand side of the county road that goes from padre to port a

 

yea I tried the national sea shore a couple of weeks after I bought my jeep and just go to marker 20 before I had to turn around and get my gf back to school for a test. Thanks for the info though about the trails over there cause I will certainly have to try some of those out.

 

I live in Corpus and work in Port Aransas. I've had my first Jeep for almost a month now. I have also been down to the National Sea Shore. Thanks for the info on the Corpus Chapter it would be great if there was a JK Group down here. All you see is a bunch of good ol boys with monster trucks (nothing against them I just like Jeeps and Jeep people)

Cant make this one buddy, I'm saving the pennies for the K2 trip. That's gonna be an expensive one for us.

I'm in Portland...just finishing up school (I'm a teacher) and am cruising around all the time.
