Going to padre island tommorow. Wish it wasn't going to rain. Would like to hear about more places to take the new jeep. Just moved down to corpus last night.

Matagorda beach is the only place I know of on the coast aside from Padre.

Only been there a couple of times. The family likes it - but it's only sand and we didn't get off the beach behind the dunes. It's a $10 fee, cash only i think, to get a sticker for beach access that lasts a for a year.
