I have had the Sonny Bryans at the original location mentioned earlier. It is a true hole in the wall BBQ place. It was really good. We saw it on one of those food network shows and tried it on a trip to Dallas.

Make sure and have a good and cold Lone Star beer with that BBQ. That stuff is the sweet nectar of the beer God!

I will try that. Also been looking forward to some Shiner Bock. I have had that before and really enjoyed it.

now if you are in Dallas and want to try something good and cheap and a little different, try the brisket quesadillas at Peggy Sue's BBQ in Snyder Plaza

Thank you all for your suggestions. Now, which do people think is the best of these?

1. the original Sonny Bryans
2. North Main BBQ
3. Sammy's
4. Hard 8
5. Bone Daddys
6. Smoke Pit
7. Peggy Sue's BBQ

You are going to be so stoked about driving your new BEAST that you wont remember how the BBQ taste anyway.

Default St. Patty's Day Parade -- Lower Greenville

If you are looking to have a great time -- I highly recommend hitting Sammy's and then a trip over to Greenville and enjoy one of the finest days in Dallas. The weather is not all that great, but there will certainly be some nice talent to look at and beer to be drank. However, with your new rig, you may want to spend the day on some trails. Enjoy your new set-up!

Went to north main BBQ. The food was the best. Too bad they turned the lights out on us. Not a big deal as we kept drinking in the dark.
