Default Hemi Install - Texas

Has anyone had a hemi installed by a shop in Texas and if so what were your experiences with the install and the shop? Thinking very seriously of having a 5.7 VVT installed in the near future but would like to do it locally (Dallas to Houston) if possible.

Screaming Lizzard seen a lot of their work, and never heard anyone complain about anything but paying for it.

They've done a lot of Hemi's and I've wheeled with several of their Hemi JKs; impressive. As soon as I win $20k somehow, I'll be having them put something bigger than my minivan motor in. Talk to Sean at SLC.

SLC is great, straight shooters too. I wheeled with them and other customers at Moab during EJS and rode in 1BAJK which has a hemi install they did. Sean is pretty good at making sure the bases are covered and fitting things to your needs. Just wait until after I leave so I can get my stuff done

Thanks, that was what I wanted to here. I knew they had done some conversions just wanted to here from others before I dropped 20+ on the work. I would much rather have it done in Texas.

Yes it is. Just over actually. Still thinking on this but I believe I will pull the trigger tomorrow. Just a few more questions to line out with Sean and will probable put a motor and transmission on order.
