Not no but Hell no to going back through Houston. If we are the only ones going I guess its a simple decision.

Hahaha thats what I like to hear. Seems like the copilot I had isnt going to make it. NC to Louisiana is a long drive with bad bushings. Trying to find another person to go along for the ride.

 

I guess there are alot of shared interest. Jeeps, 4 wheelers/sxs's, mud...

I have to try and convince the little princess to get up early enough to make it to Houston before 9. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal because she used to live at the beach during the summertime. But Ike took the beach cabin away, that was only 4' off the ground, which no one would insure, so there is no more cabin....
Otherwise I would just tell her to suck it up or miss out.

 

Knnphillips and I are going to meet at 6:45am at the Holidome parking lot. Going to drive to Texas City to be part of the caravan rolliing into Bolivar.
If you want to go but don't want to drive to Houston I would figure being at the ferry landing around 10:00 would be a good plan. Mapquest says it is a 23 minute drive from Texas City to Galveston. Factor in 300+ vehicles, caravaning, and the ferry.....

 

Slight change of plans for Saturday morning. Same meet up spot but ging to roll out of Beaumont at 6:30am. HJP posted more details up about Saturday morning and they are going to start lining up about 8:30 and on the road at 9:00.
Anybody else in for this?
