Default Badlands in May

Is anyone interested in a trip to the Badlands in May? Going to camp in Turkey Run State Park and then some wheeling for a couple days. Haven't locked a weekend down yet til we see the interest level. Bringing our 5 year old and maybe our dog. So it will be some relatively clean fun...beside the mud and dirt of course!!

Yup! My wife loves the hiking trails in Turkey Run State Park. So we are probably going to take the pop up down there then drive back up for wheeling.

We are thinking the 13th or so thru Sunday.

They have a nice website and have just about every terrain there. Mud, sand dunes, wooded trails, a large creek you can run, an old rock quarry that has some pretty good climbs. Over all a pretty good place to wheel and is right on the edge of town so you can get fuel and food if you need to. For a first timer there you can easily spend 2-3 days exploring the park.

Yeah it is a great park. I haven't been there for about 8 years. I was there with my 01 Ranger and had a blast! You can do any type of wheeling there.

That sounds amazing. $500 for the family is a bit rich... I will be chatting with the Mrs about this one...

Couple hours away. I might try and make it up on Saturday 16th. Was there last year for the first time and it was a blast.
