Humm... I'll look into that.

Thats actually what the 1/4" bit is for, the pilot hole. I already have a 1/2" metal cutting drill bit, but no 1/4".

But, it wouldn't hurt to buy a really nice new one... I can't imagine drilling into the axle housing is going to be easy.

I also have plenty of drilling oil, so we should be good there.

You're dead... you may not know it, but with 3 kids you're practically dead already.

Duane,

Do you have a 5mm allen wrench?

It looks like we'll need one... I have a few, but heck if I know what sizes they are

That's the drop bracket I was talking about. When you take the stock trackbar off, leave the drop bracket on, and attach the adj one to that same point

On a note of tools, what's a good place to start building up a tool collection? I've been looking at Sears on the 200+ piece set for around $179 or so. Is that a good start? Am I looking at the wrong tools???

they have those step bits that start out small and step up to a bigger size and then up to a bigger size. it is like a all in one drill bit BUT i don't know how durable they are. they have the good carbide tipped ones but i imagine they are costly
