I hate side posts, my S-10's battery pissed me off to no end. It does make sense though, it's not really an accessory, more of an appliance.

"E's" have strong sidewalls ,and when you air down alot of times your sidewall will get pinched so the stronger/tougher the better IMO

Sort of off the subject but have you guys had any problems with your thermostat gasket developing a slow tiny drip? I believe that's the culprit of a tiny spot underneath my jeep a bit ago. Just wondering if it was a common problem or just something that happens lol. Oh and my coolant level had dropped since I last checked it.

What's your plan for the Jeep - Most go with load range E so that you don't rip your sidewall on rocks and such, but load range E tires will be heavier and ride a little rougher. What size tires were you looking to go to? Stock size? 33s? 35s?

Not that I've noticed any. There was a post on here somewhere about a thermostat issue but not sure if it was gasket related.

Well the dealer called today and they think it might be the stabilizer also. They are replacing under warranty. So no worries there. We'll see after they road test it again.

Finally got around to having the inner liner/brake line recall done. It was apparently just in time. They said the fender liners had almost eaten through the brake lines so they are replacing those also. That would have sucked to lose my brakes, probably would have happened as I was coming to stop behind a Porsche or Mercedes.
