ARGH!!!
ARGH!!!
. Did you tell them about the screen shots you posted on here that said it was out for delivery and what nots??
I mean, all said and done, I guess you'll get it when you get it, but it's still aggravating nonetheless.
I was at Kum & Go at 101st and Aspen Wednesday night and got stopped by a guy in a Ford 1 ton asking about the lift on my Jeep. Apparently he has a '10 Red Rock and liked the ride height on mine. I told him what I had for springs and the BB, and refered him to the forum.
Really nice guy.

Oh wow! Guess someone there needs to make up their mind on what's really going on

I mean, all said and done, I guess you'll get it when you get it, but it's still aggravating nonetheless. However, when I noticed that it had been listed as "out for delivery" for the second day, I called them at 7am today to see if it was truly out for delivery or just a glitch. The person at my local UPS delivery center confirmed that it was on a truck, and had been yesterday. They said that it was going back out to see if the driver could make the delivery. At this time I explicitly informed them that if they were unable to make the delivery that I wanted to arrange a pickup.
I called back just before noon to verify the status of the shipment. The guy I spoke to this time looked through all the scan logs, and did some digging and came to the conclusion that my package was on a truck for delivery. I re-iterated that if the driver couldn't make the delivery that I wanted to pick it up when he arrived back in. The guy I was speaking with said he'd put a message in to the delivery driver and that someone would call me back.
Fast forward to just after 5pm today, and still no phone call. I call for a third time to my local center. The person I spoke to this time (different from the two others previously) said that my package was NOT on a truck, nor had it even been out for delivery. They said that it was still sealed and could not be opened for pickup. They said it would probably be Monday before it was opened and delivery would be attempted or I could pick it up after that time.
When I mentioned about the two previous calls, they were confused. They said that they had no idea why someone would say that. They speculated that they probably just said it to get me off the phone. When I mentioned the website they said that someone had mistakenly scheduled ALL of their packages for delivery, and they were having to go back through their records and fix this mistake.
I do not expect my package sooner than it is suppose to arrive. It will get here when it gets here. But, what I do expect is that a business who claims to specialize in package delivery, would be able to:
A) Know where their packages are.
B) Be able to look at their current package volume and worker capacity and make reasonable estimates about delivery dates.
Clearly UPS is incapable of either of those tasks.

I think I told John 9 or 9:30... but no rush.
I saw your other post about your truck. That sucks, but at least you were able to pull off before ruining the engine.
Feel free to bring over a few mods. We can try and grab some of those. Somehow I doubt my Jeep will take all day... but with the sleeves, it might.
