Congrats!

Although South Pointe replaced the same items trying to "fix" my DW some time back... Let's just say they didn't fix anything, and that I'll never be going back to them again.

I hope yours is truly fixed, but a steering dampener is NOT a solution to DW. If your DW did go away, it's probably because they retorqued the front in back down to spec while they were at it.

Yeah hopefully it did fix it. I'm sure thats a standard fix all for them to try. We'll see but so far so good.

Humm... Jeep usually mails to my P.O. Box, and today I didn't stop and check it... I bet I'll have one soon then. My Jeep was manufactured in August of 2007, and that puts it right in the middle of the date range they're covering on this overfill problem.

I had never experienced myself until right around September of 2010, and from then on I can no longer fill up without gas spilling everywhere

Oh... I saw somewhere where someone was saying their card from Jeep mentioned that future repairs on this overfill problem would be covered for a lifetime...

Did you card say something like that

Yes, it did. It wasn't a card, but more of a letter on a Chrysler letter head type, alongwith a printed Repair Order sheet attached to it that has my VIN and other information to be taken to any Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or RAM dealer (RAM Dealer?? ). I was looking for it, but looks like I left it in the office at work.

I don't think they're replacing the tank - it said the overflow check valve

Apparently, though, the overflow check valve is built into the tank. So they will replace your entire gas tank.

Best not take it in with a full tank of gas, you'll be leaving on empty
