Well, good luck bud. It's not gonna be fun working in the cold - it was miserable enough doing it in 70+ degree weather during the day - doing this at night in 30 something weather gives it a whole different level of misery

Ok, there should be a square metallic piece - you stick this piece of metal right where the tire carrier lower rubber "bumpstop" would touch the tailgate. Problem is, one Oklahoma summer is enough to melt the sticky stuff off the back of it, and it'll start sliding off. I took mine off completely.

Oh, and does the high lift use the long all-thread through the upper mounting holes?

I assume the l-shaped brackets are for gas cans?
