OK bs
Averaging between 13.5 - 14.5 in town, around 16 - 18 on the highway doing no more than 65mph. Those numbers are with E10 gasoline; non-blended 87 gets me about a mile better to the gallon approx.
Dang last weekend I drove to St. Louis to pick my daughter up.....9.5 MPG I understand I had that amazing Oklahoma wind against me the whole way there and the whole way back...LOL I figure I am gonna chip and just ride it out till I replace my front axle and regear everything....
Ok guys...question...I bought my 07 with 45k miles...when I changed my oil at 50k...oil gauge was half way...I changed to 5w-30 at 50k and I just checked 3k in and Im 1.5 quarts low..I know they are oil burners but damn...go from minimal burn to full bore...would it be the 5w-30???? Should I go back to 20?? It's synthetic...suggestions..
But personally, I'm still using 5W20.

No, my issue was a single ding/knock during cold starts. After a lot of discussion, we found out it was possibly a bad anti-drainback valve on the oil filter. Went back to using Mopar filters and haven't had an issue since.
