The kit comes with a drop bracket for the rear trackbar, so highly recommended to use a front adjustable one. JKS and Full Traction both make good trackbars, as does Teraflex if you want to match the kit. The 2.5" kit will net you over 3" of lift, and I'd presume that your axle will shift quite a bit to one side or another. No point having to deal with DW issues if you don't have to.

So even with 35s with that lift it is quite possible to run without the trackbar for at least a while (as long as you don't get hit and have the rear out).
I have 33-34" tires on right now, so i just dont want problems later on down the road, and i am a sporty driver sometimes still..so i think a trackbar may be safe for me now haha. I never want to experience DW!

You are right, but no ever JK is the same. Jeep has some horrible tolerances.

I am on the other end of the spectrum from your experience. When I went with my coil lift, my passenger coils were shoved so far to the driver's side that they were touching the frame

Its a toss up as to if he will REALLY need it... but, it wouldn't hurt either. Well, it would hurt about $140 worth

exactly what i was thinking, because when i was at Marks house he told me how the axles would shift, so i would like to just try and avoid that problem from the start. So i will also talk to them about a front trackbar.

Yeah, Cali's had gas over $4/gal for a while now . Had a colleague that had to go back to Cali to attend to some family business several months back and they were over $4.30/gal back then.

Going by Jerry's personal experience, you may not need it - but then again, his is a 4-Door going on a 2.5" lift, while yours is a 2-Door going on the same amount of lift. Makes a difference. Either case, look at it as cheap insurance. Worst case scenario, you make a couple hundred dollar mistake by having a part that's not needed. But I'd rather have something not needed, rather than need something that I don't have. Just my

saw an interesting jeep at sonic earlier tonight on east side of gore, across from my casino.

Couldn't quite get the color, either black or steel blue, small lift with 33's and black wheels, probably 15s

Strange thing was is it had a Sahara sticker on it, yet it had the unpainted fenders and it had Wrangler Unlimited sticker on it and it was a 2 door. Did someone go sticker happy? spare tire had a sport wheel on it.

Anybody we know?

Still waiting on my tax return to order my bumper. Managed to get the owner of wild boars sell phone number so i'm going to call him direct when the check goes through. I've looked and looked and looked and it is still by far my favorite full width bumper. Has the factory fogs and you can mount a winch to it.

I'll probably have it next month (hopefully) so if anyone around wants to knock a few back (i drink soda but whatever) and help me throw my bumper on, it would be much helpful.

In may i'll get my CB and get it hooked up and thrown on. Hopefully by june i'll be able to convince my wife that i need a winch. Thats all that i'll want to do for quite some time. I'm sure once i get a front bumper, i'll want a rear bumper pretty quick.

I figure as far as mods go i'll stick to aesthetic stuff after that since i really have to depend on my jeep for a ride every day. I'll be able to wheel, just not the extreme stuff. I can't afford the problems that may arise from changing the geometry of the vehicle too much.

also, going to Arbuckle Wilderness this weekend. Haven't been since i was a child. Any suggestions of other things to do out there? I know its a decent drive from lawton so i'd like to do more than drive through a zoo and come home.

Thinking of taking the fishing poles isnt lake murray over there?
