Maybe he was trying to unhook the metal clasp with his teeth and it back lashed on him.

Maybe he went in for the kill and the metal support was sticking out and got him.

Ewww, boob buckle backlash. Sounds painful. Where's the Consumer Product Safety Commission when you need them?

Mcgard - best I've found so far. Some have used Gorilla but it seems to have mixed feedback - Mark Doiron, in particular had bad experience with the Gorilla lug nuts I believe.

I did. My biggest complaint was that they are not the same size as the stock lugs--they are a smidgeon bigger. That made most of my tools not work to loosen the lug nuts--sockets, wheel wrench, stock tire wrench, etc. It was a big pain because the size of the Gorilla lug nuts was too close to the size of the hole in my Procomp 8069 wheels. Finally ended up getting rid of the whole shebang and went to the Mopar lugs (McGard by any other name).
