I'll do good to get out of the parking lot with these POS wrangler SR-A's.. snow wheeling?
I went to Beal Tire and priced Wrangler DuraTracs and I got quoted just over 1600 dollars for 5 tires mounted and balanced..
these were 265/70/17's. went online to TireRack and they'll ship me 5 of those same tires for approx 494 dollars less.
reason I'm shooting for this size is because I don't want to deal with rubbing should I decide to barrel off the road into the wilderness, and the bigger tire you go, the more things that seem to go wrong, and I'm just not prepared to deal with all that kinda stuff yet
so 265/70/17's it is. I figure once these wear out, i'll go bigger

265/70R17s are roughly a 32x10.5x17 as far as size goes
. And if you're planning on staying with a 32" tire, you're better off spending a lot lesser for some Rubi take-offs. Rubi tires are 32" BFGoodrich M/T and you won't have to worry about getting wheel spacers either. Just a thought.

Reason I'm going for the Duratracs is for the ice / snow traction- I hear alot of bad thoughts with M/T's on ice. Plus the Duratracs can have studs added to them. While I know there's not always ice on the roads here in Oklahoma, the thought of having 5 brand new tires with a warranty sounds good to me, while a bit costly, worth it in the long run... to me anyways. I'll keep looking though, haven't made a purchase yet

And all we got down here is wind, sun and 50 degree or so weather
