Scout stuff today and tomorrow is Mother's Day, so you have obligations (my mom lives in San Diego, so I only have to make a phone call). How about next Saturday (May 14)? Or, if Sunday was better, starting at about 10:30.

 

Haven't wheeled it really hard, but haven't had any fender rubbing, yet. Did have some light rubbing on the stowed sway bar links--didn't even know it until after the run and saw the paint had been smudged.

Yes, Jeff now has those tires (I took the last of them up to him yesterday). He said he might keep them, but I'll bet he'd part with them for the right offer. They have about 30% of tread left, so a purchaser should be able to put off buying fully priced tires for a good year or more. It could provide quicker entry to 35s and more money for other priorities.

If you're really interested in desert flowers, next year I'm thinking of making a couple day run on the Mojave Road. I'm' hoping to hit it in the spring when the flowers are blooming, but that's just a matter of luck (with the rain, that is). Anyone interested?
