That's such a bummer. TORN, Interceptor and I are getting together for a little work on Interceptor's Jeep and probably some dinner and picture moments out at Stanley Draper Lake on November 22nd. You're welcome to come visit and ride with me, if you want. Nothing challenging, just some dirt roads around the lake.

 

That was an unfortunate incident. What's the update on the Jeep? Is the other person's insurance taking care of it? What was the damage estimate? When do they think it'll be fixed? I've personally never had such an incident with the JK [or any other vehicle for that matter] but I can imagine how it must be to not be able to drive it at the moment. There are a few times when we've taken my wife's car to go somewhere instead of the Jeep and I'm eager to get back in it soon as we return!

And like Mark said, you're welcome to ride with us and join us for lunch/dinner if you'd like; if nothing, it gives us all a social moment together face-to-face.

 

No update yet. The insurance hasn't gotten it yet. But their insurance is taking care of it.

For now I'm stuck with an f150, I can't wait until I get it back, it's driving me crazy without it. But I might try to do most of the work myself, just to try to get some control over what goes into it.

But I may tag along somehow, I'll try to find a way where I won't be the 5th wheel.

And don't worry about being the 5th wheel There'll be plenty of room if you want to join. If you need picked up, let me know since I'll be coming up from Lawton anyway, I could just drive through Norman and pick you up on the way to Midwest City and drop you back off on the way back.

 

Thanks for the offer guys, but I can't go. I got called for work on saterday morning. But in the mean time I'm getting a rental car, so if you see a passenger car caked with mud it's probably me.

 

Ok nevermind. I just saw that the 22nd is a sunday. What time are you guys looking to get together? I might not have a jeep to bring but I'll at least have a rental car, with insurance of course

But, I did get a free rental car, I always thought you had to be 25 to get a rental car, I'm suprised they would give one to an 18 Year old, lol.
